13 Apr Kährs Linnea – The Thin Designer Floor in real wood
New designs and finishes, new names and collections, new FSC-certified floors. The year of 2011 will surely be an exciting year for Kährs Linnea. With a thin wear layer and at just 7mm thick, the Linnea floors provide an eco-friendly real wood-flooring option that’s both durable and easy to install. Now with more design options for consumers to choose among.
Habitat Collection – big 1-strip planks Measuring 1810mm x 150mm x 7mm, the Habitat floors are made from big 1-strip planks and have a board size previously not available in the Kährs Linnea range. This new collection includes five, stunning oak and walnut floors. Oak Dome is stained in a warm white tone; Oak Tower is a “clean” oak floor with minor colour variations; Oak Gate has a warm brownish colour due to the smoking process; Walnut Statue has the natural walnut colour variations and Oak Castle is stained in a real dark tone.
Dwell Collection – multi-striped and patterned floors
Four new floors, all multi-striped and with a matt lacquered surface, are added to Dwell Collection. The colours range from natural, pale SoHo, dark and reddish Salamanca, dark and brownish Trevi, to excitingly black Notting Hill with white stripes. Dwell Collection also includes Gotham, with a pattern that resembles industrial parquet and Loft, a version of a classical Dutch pattern, popular in the 1950s.
Meanwhile, the existing Linnea floors will also be renamed and grouped into different collections.
Living Collection (previously Linnea Narrow) features 1-strip floors in a modern format. The boards are 118mm wide and the collection includes floors of different colour stains for your choice, from white Oak Blanc to dark Oak Coal. This collection also includes four FSC-certified floors: Oak Honey, Oak Bisquit, Oak Amber and Oak Coffee.
Lodge Collection (previously Linnea Original) includes a series of floors ranging from palest birch to classic oak, from warm cherry to darkish walnut. This collection offers 2-strip options, and also two shipsdecking floors.
The new names and collections will be effective from April, in connection with the new 2011 price list. For more information, please contact your FloorworX sales representative.
