The Suntups range traditionally started as an exotic range and it is still a top seller as real wood flooring has been around for centuries and will be for centuries to come. There are 5 hardwood species in the range.

Suntups Exotic Wood engineered floors should be installed in accordance with FloorworX recommendations (installation instructions in each box). The floor should be installed following the length of the room. The floors should be stored in the room it will be installed in at least 48 hours prior to installation for temperature acclimatization.
Sub-floors must be flat, level, hard, clean, and dry according to the South Africa Wood, Laminate & Flooring Association® (SAWLFA) specification before laying commences. Uneven floors may need preparation to meet the required standard. In case of direct to earth concrete, a damp proof membrane must be incorporated into the sub-floor. Suntups Exotic Wood engineered floors are installed using the Elastilon® installation method (peel & stick). There is no glue used on the long T&G sides however a dot of wood glue can be used on the short ends to hold the ends tight after installation.
Suntups engineered floors installed by this method can be installed unlimited in the length and up to 25 meters wide in the width, with no T strips in any doorways to make the entire floor one unit. Should there however be a width over 10 meters it is recommended to consult the FloorworX Technical Department to discuss. Expansion gaps for all Suntups Engineered wooden flooring is 15mm all round up to 5 meters and there after add 3mm per linear meter only on the width on each side.
